How to set up LayerSeven TV on iOS
Setting up on an iPhone or iPad differs from Android in one important way: Apple does not normally allow apps to be installed from a web page, so you will either install our app and trust its profile once, or pick a player from the App Store. Both work equally well — the App Store route is simpler, ours is one less place to type a server address. Everything here applies to iOS 14 and newer.

checklistBefore you start
- An iPhone or iPad running iOS 14 or newer
- Your username, password and server URL from the subscription email
- An Apple ID, if you install a player from the App Store
Step-by-Step Setup
iOS Installation
Download LayerSeven TV or a Player
Open our Downloads page in Safari and choose the iOS build. Because it does not come from the App Store, iOS asks you to trust it once: go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management, tap the profile and confirm. If you would rather not, open the App Store and install IPTV Smarters Lite, GSE Smart IPTV, UHF or Chillio — any of them will play your subscription.
Open the App & Login
With LayerSeven TV, enter the username and password from your subscription email and it activates for free. With an App Store player, choose "Xtream Codes API" and fill in the server URL, username and password, or paste your M3U link if you prefer. Xtream Codes is the better choice here: it carries the guide and the on-demand library, and it survives a change of server address without you retyping anything.
Allow Notifications
Say yes when iOS asks. Notifications are how you hear about scheduled maintenance or a server address changing — without them, the first sign of either is a player that has quietly stopped working, and the fix is a message you never received.
Turn Off Low Power Mode
Low Power Mode throttles background networking, which shows up as stuttering a minute or two into a live stream. If you watch for any length of time, leave it off or keep the device plugged in. It is easily the most common cause of "it plays for a bit and then stops" on iPhone.
Start Watching
Channels, films and series load into their categories. Use search for a specific channel, and AirPlay from the player to put it on an Apple TV or a compatible television — quality holds up because the stream is passed through rather than re-encoded.

Common problems
Fixes specific to iOS
"Untrusted Enterprise Developer" when opening the app
The trust step has not been completed. Settings > General > VPN & Device Management, tap the developer profile, then Trust. The app will not open until you do — this is how iOS treats any app that did not come from the App Store.
Playback stops when the screen locks
Expected for video on iOS unless the player supports background audio. Turn off Auto-Lock while watching — Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock > Never — and set it back afterwards.
Some channels will not play but most do
Individual channels use different stream formats and not every player handles all of them. Try one of the other recommended players for those channels; GSE Smart IPTV in particular supports formats the lighter apps skip.
